When you arrive in Bandaranaike International Airport our representative will be waiting for you for a warm welcome to Sri Lanka. After that you will board an air-conditioned vehicle and head to Kandy. On the way you will stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where you will see elephants in their natural habitat and even get a chance to feed the baby elephants. When you arrive in Kandy you will visit the popular Temple of the Tooth Relic which is a Buddhist temple and learn more about the culture and religion of Sri Lankans. You will also tour the lively local markets and then later relax in a family friendly hotel within the city.

Experience one of the world’s scenic train rides from Kandy city to Ella town. You will pass through lush tea plantations, misty mountains and beautiful waterfalls on your way. The train passes through the iconic Nine Arch bridge and you can even take photos as you hang on the door of the train, similar to the popular photos in the internet. Once you arrive in Ella, go for a leisure hike to Little Adam’s Peak and unwind at this cool hillside atmosphere. Visit several other attractions in Ella and even go for a therapeutic ayurveda massage, which will replenish both your body and soul.

Travel from Ella to Yala National Park and embark on an adventurous jeep safari through the park. You will spot wildlife like leopards, elephants, wild boars and other exotic wildlife like the Sri Lankan deer in their diverse natural habitats. There are also many trees in the park so you will get a chance to explore the diverse biodiversity of the park. After a thrilling day at the park, enjoy a peaceful night at the comfy safari lodge which is just close to the park.

Travel to the beach town of Bentota which is popular for its pristine beaches and plethora of water sports. On your way you will stop at Madhu River and enjoy a boat ride which will help you explore the beauty of the river and the mangroves by the river banks. You will then go to the Bentota river where you can engage in activities like jet ski rides, windsurfing or a banana boat ride. All these activities are family friendly and you get to enjoy the water sports as a family or even compete against each other. Later on, enjoy some family time at the sandy Bentota beach.

The morning starts with fantastic travel to the coastal city of Galle where you can enjoy Dutch colonial history and the coastal view. Next, Galle Fort will grab your attention with its colonial architecture.

You can get a private family photo taking time at Galle lighthouse with the amazing background of the Indian Ocean. Later, you can explore and get more knowledge regarding the turtle once you reach the turtle hatchery in Kosagoda. The same evening, you can return to Bentota and have a peaceful dinner at a seaside restaurant.

Your day in Colombo city will give you an amazing experience with many important sites. From the National Museum to the Gangaramaya temple, every spot will teach you the history and culture of the country. After exploring major attractions, you can have a fun relaxing time at Galle Face Green.

From the street food to kite flying scenes, you can enjoy every moment there. Later, you will get an unforgettable shopping experience at Petta Market, Odel Mall, and the Dutch Hospital shopping precinct. At the end of the day, the entire family can get a comfortable stay at one of the family-friendly hotels in Colombo.

On day 7, if there is time before the flight takes off time, you can take a short walk around Colombo. Moreover, you can create many memories with important landmarks.
