Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and our friendly representative will be waiting to welcome your family with warm smiles and assist with luggage. Settle into private air-conditioned vehicle and start journey toward cultural capital of Kandy.

On the way stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and witness these magnificent creatures up close in protected environment. See as they are being fed, watch baby elephants bottle feeding and even fun bath time in the river. Continue to Kandy and upon arrival check in to family friendly hotel.

After resting for while to shake off travel fatigue, head out to tour Temple of Tooth Relic, a sacred Buddhist site, believed to house a tooth of the Buddha. Stroll through the temple admiring stunning architecture and even enjoy traditional drumming ceremony. Later on, take leisure walk through lively local markets of Kandy and get absorbed into culture of local people and even buy souvenirs to take home with you.

Enjoy early breakfast at hotel then get transferred to Kandy train station and board one of worlds most beautiful train journeys. Enjoy views of ever-changing landscapes, lush green plantations, distant mountain peaks, cascading waterfalls and stunning dense greenery. The most iconic moment is passing over Nine Arch Bridge, where you can take the classic travel photos hanging by the door.

Arrive in enchanting Ella Town and check into hotel with family. Afterwards head out to hike Little Adams Peak, relatively easy trail that offers 360 panoramic views of surrounding valleys and mountains. In afternoon take time for leisure with family, explore laid back cafes of Ella, tour waterfalls or unwind in hotel. This is perfect opportunity for parents to enjoy therapeutic Ayurvedic massage, a traditional healing form that rejuvenates both body, mind and soul.

After breakfast travel out of cool hills of Ella to dry areas of Yala for exhilarating wildlife experience. Yala is know for highest density of leopards in the world and also you spot other animals like Asian elephants, spotted deer, wild boars, sloth bears among others and variety of birds. Check into a safari lodge close to the park and in afternoon enjoy jeep safari through jungles of the park to explore diverse biodiversity. After safari head back to the lodge for relaxing night in the wild.

Leave Yala early in the morning and head toward the coast to beautiful beach town of Bentota. Stop at Madu River and enjoy boat safari through mangrove swamps where you will spot monitor lizards, water monitors and variety of birds. Most kids enjoy this fascinating tour through waters and you can proceed on boat up to a small cinnamon island.

When you arrive Bentota, check into beachfront hotel and then head out for family fun with water sports. Try out jet skiing, windsurfing or banana boat ride with family. If you want just relaxation, sit by the beach to build sandcastles or swim in warm gentle waters of Indian Ocean. Enjoy sunset by the beach with family and then go back to resort for overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast and take short coastal journey south toward Galle town where the crown attraction is the UNESCO World Heritage site Galle Fort. Walk through charming colonial era streets and inside the fort discover the blend of European and South Asian architecture. After tour head back to Bentota and on the way stop at a turtle hatchery in Kosagoda to learn about different species of sea turtles found in Sri Lankan, the threats and conservation measures in place.

After delicious breakfast go back to Colombo and enjoy a Colombo city tour. Visit key cultural and historical sites such as Gangaramaya Temple and National Museum. Also tour Galle Face Green Park where you may fly a kite, sample delicious street foods and soak into the happy ambience. In afternoon enjoy retail therapy at Pettah Market or Odel shopping mall for upscale shopping and Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct for chic boutiques and fine dining. Spend final night in Sri Lanka in comfy family friendly hotel at heart of city.

Depending on flight schedule you may have little time for last, minute exploration or relaxing breakfast. Enjoy a slow morning and then check out of hotel. Our representative will then transfer you and your family back to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
