Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Yala National Park

When you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, our representative will be waiting to welcome you to Sri Lanka and transfer you to Yala with our air-conditioned vehicle. On your way, the first stop will be at Tissamaharama where you will get absorbed into the culture of the region. When you arrive in Yala in the evening you will embark on a thrilling nature safari in the Yala National Park. You will spot wildlife such as leopards, sloth bears and crocodiles in the park. Later on, you will rest in a luxury jungle lodge.

Full-Day Safari at Yala and Transfer to Udawalawe

Start the morning with a jeep safari in Yala National Park and during this period you are more likely to spot predators in action. After lunch you will then head to Udawalawe National Park which is known for its high density of elephants. Tour the Elephant Transit Home to see orphaned elephants that are rehabilitated there. Embark on a sunset safari through the park to see the flora and fauna and later on stay over at an ecofriendly lodge.

Udawalawe to Sinharaja Rainforest – Nature Trekking

Next, your travel continues to Galle. Through the way, you can visit Kanneliya forest reserve where you can enjoy the biodiversity of the place.

Galle to Colombo: departure time
