Sri Lanka Wildlife Tour Package – 5N/6D

When you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, our representative will be waiting to welcome you to Sri Lanka and transfer you to Yala with our air-conditioned vehicle. On your way, the first stop will be at Tissamaharama where you will get absorbed into the culture of the region. When you arrive in Yala in the evening you will embark on a thrilling nature safari in the Yala National Park. You will spot wildlife such as leopards, sloth bears and crocodiles in the park. Later on, you will rest in a luxury jungle lodge.

Start the morning with a jeep safari in Yala National Park and during this period you are more likely to spot predators in action. After lunch you will then head to Udawalawe National Park which is known for its high density of elephants. Tour the Elephant Transit Home to see orphaned elephants that are rehabilitated there. Embark on a sunset safari through the park to see the flora and fauna and later on stay over at an ecofriendly lodge.

After breakfast at Udawalawe head too Sinharaja Rainforest which is rich in biodiversity and a hub for birdwatchers. Enjoy a guided nature trek through the rainforest where our guide will help you spot rare plant species and educate you about the biodiversity of this dense jungle. You will also see vibrant butterflies and endemic birds flying around the forest. In the even relax and unwind at a nature resort waiting for the next day’s adventure.

Transfer to Bentota, a coastal town popular for its sandy beaches, lush landscapes and river safaris. Go to River Madu, board a boat and cruise through the scenic mangrove forests. If you are lucky, you may spot some exotic wildlife along the way. In the evening head to the beach an unwind as you watch the waves or explore the local fishing villages.

Your day will begin with an amazing exploration of wildlife with a boat safari on the Bentota River. This cruise will give you an amazing opportunity to directly spot and monitor lizards, crocodiles, and many bird species.

Next, your travel continues to Galle. Through the way, you can visit Kanneliya forest reserve where you can enjoy the biodiversity of the place.

Once you reach Galle, you can explore many birdwatching opportunities at Galle Fort and enjoy the ecosystem of the coastal part. Then, a short boat ride to Jungle Beach if there is enough time.

On day 6, you will be taken to Muthurajawela Marsh near Colombo. Here, you can explore water buffalo, reptiles, and birds. Moreover, a boat ride will give you a good chance to understand diverse wildlife.

After that, our representative will drop you at the airport to catch your home flight. When you leave this beautiful Island, you will get in-depth knowledge about wildlife.
